In 2022, there will be preliminaries for the international physics competition PLANCKS. Since Munich is only a stone’s throw from Austria while you can expect a thought-through programme as well as many networking opportunities, some of them including units of 10^{-3} m^3 of wheat-containing, isotonic drinks, we especially encourage you to join the event this year.
Due to the COVID-19 situation, Basisgruppe NAWI Physik will host the preliminaries in an online event on
Monday, March 28th 2022
from 2 pm to 7 pm
on our Discord server https://discord.gg/DwgMcsxegH.
In the first few minutes, we will explain the modalities of the preliminaries after each team will move to a separate voice channel to engage in the four-hour-long competition. You can expect examples from within the Bachelor’s level in Physics where knowledge of fundamental principles is the only requirement. On the next day, we will announce the winning team that can then travel to the international event in Munich.
Everyone willing to participate should sign up to the server in teams of four people. One of the team members should then contact Thorsten Adam on the server and tell him a team name, all of the other members as well as a phone number where she or he is available on the day of the preliminary.
You can find all the information on the international event on https://www.dpg-physik.de/vereinigungen/fachuebergreifend/ak/akjdpg/events/wettbewerbe/plancks.
We look forward to your participation!
